The SpaceX IPO was the other day. Did anyone purchase any shares? I suppose we all will have them eventually in the form of our pension accounts. How is this going to change things with AI?
SpaceX's IPO last week was the biggest in history, and for once, regular people actually got a shot at buying in. What's wild is it's barely even a rocket company anymore, they're deep into AI infrastructure now, which means your future pension fund might end up owning a piece of whatever AI becomes next.
The AI data centers in space always makes me think of the Muppet Show's "Pigs in Spaaaace..." but that might just be my generation. I do see a lot of uptake on SpaceX building data centers for some of the larger AI companies. I wonder how this is going to affect their IPOs later this year.
